The exhibition and research project entitled There is no time for work, there is no time without work draws inspiration from the text by Czech art theorist Jindřich Chalupecký, All the best to the workers' councils from 1969, in which Chalupecký criticizes both "classical democracy" and "authoritatively invented and applied socialism after 1948."

He concludes his call for a complete transformation of the socio-political system, true freedom, and direct participation of the "people" in public affairs and the cultural sphere with the following words: "All power to the councils of workers, peasants, youth, intellectuals. As if we could reopen the first pages of a revolutionary textbook and, after all the disappointments and despair, once again strive for freedom in this world." For publishing the text, Chalupecký was banned from public speaking for twenty years.
