The exhibition and research project entitled There is no time for work, there is no time without work draws inspiration from the text by Czech art theorist Jindřich Chalupecký, All the best to the workers' councils from 1969, in which Chalupecký criticizes both "classical democracy" and "authoritatively invented and applied socialism after 1948."

Cooperation with Artedu – The Classroom Project
In 2017, Jindřich Chalupecký Society started a cooperation with the Artedu educational platform focused on presenting contemporary art to the general public. We participated in the Classroom Project in which high school students meet Jindřich Chalupecký Award holders and create a common art project.

Charging Jindřich Chalupecký Award 2016
Before the Jindřich Chalupecký Award 2016 was presented to the award holder, it went through the hands of artists and art groups who would hold an event of their choice documented by a short video. In this way, they “charged“ the award with symbolic meaning.
